So here we are again, sharing one of my favorite life moments… Maternity Shoots. I’ve known KC since college and we’re both engineers. Yes, you’ve heard that right! Licensed Electronics and Communications Engineer. So when I’ve heard that KC is already expecting a baby real soon, we had to schedule a maternity shoot.

Our first venue was in Parks and Wildlife and as expected, it was hot and humid. But despite the heat, we had a great time. (I wouldn’t recommend maternity shoots there again though). I still prefer a private and more comfortable venue for the couple.

Overall, we had a great time. Alan and KC were awesome and were all smiles during the shoot. What I love about these two is the way they look at each other. They both have these twinkly eyes every time I ask them to face each other. You can just see from the posted photos. Right?

So how about you? If you’re having a maternity shoot, where would you want it to be?

Hi! May I know what was the second place(indoor) you guys used for the other photos? Thank You!

Being a parent myself, I can’t stand to see my little daughter experiencing pain or sickness. When she had a fever for a week, we were already worried as to what could have happened and what is causing this fever. Just imagine 50 days and counting, staying at the hospital, with all the tests and stuff just to diagnose what could be causing this illness. And that’s what’s been happening to our “family from the wedding industry”, Jayjay and Feliz. Right now, their 3 1/2 y.o. daughter is currently being tested for all kinds of possible disease that could be causing her skin rashes, and other things. They had to go to Singapore last week just so they can have a clear diagnose of what’s happening to their little girl. By God’s goodness, everything is faster in Singapore but also, more expensive.

Please pray that the doctors who are testing Caitie will be guided by God’s hands and wisdom so that they will know what’s causing all these and that they could already start with the treatment. But most of all, we are also asking for prayers for the parents of Caitie, that their faith will persist despite these trials. We hope and pray that through all these efforts, many people will also be called to help their family.

I’m tempted to share the life story of Spyka. We thought her stories existed only in soap operas or movies. But like any other truth and lesson, after every storm, comes a rainbow. Who would have thought that Emman, whom we’ve only watched during Pinoy Dream Academy (PBB), would be the one who’d mend her heart and make it whole again.

It’s amazing how these two souls met each other. They’re like two worlds brought together and “they fit”.

Come their wedding, I loved it that I was able to be back shooting a wedding in Boracay. Aside from the beautiful details, I also loved their guests more because it was such an intimate wedding having only less than 50 guests.

Congrats Emman and Spyka…
