This wedding is unlike any other wedding you’ve probably seen in many wedding inspiration blogs. This wedding revolves not around the pretty details and the DIYs. This wedding revolves around RELATIONSHIPS. The families, relatives and close friends of the couple. And I love these kinds of weddings.

Adlyn and James’ wedding was very unique in many ways. A blue dress for a wedding gown, turtle-release instead of the traditional doves, a filipino-theme-inspired wedding cake. But what made the wedding very special were the people around them and as we witnessed how happy everyone was to witness both Adlyn and James walk down the aisle and be ONE.

I loved how Adlyn was so excited during preps.

You’ve captured the best emotions on these shots – excellent!

Isn’t it Amazing!? Isn’t it Exciting!? Isn’t it Surprising!? – Bride for Rent

It’s been a month already since I got married and we’re cherishing every moment . She cooks the dishes, I wash the plates and the utensils, we both go to work and can’t wait to see each other again later in the evening. After a year and two months of preparation ,  after all the hard work and stressful moments, the best line that explains what I have in mind is…

All’s well that ends well.

The wedding wasn’t perfect by the way. But it was…… BEAUTIFUL. When you realize just how much love there is coming from the people around you and you see your bride the moment the church door opens. It’s the most beautiful feeling you’ll ever have. It’s “overwhelming”. (That explains all the tears…)

That was my reflection about how much God loves us. When we realize how much He has been there for us, how much He loves us and even though we don’t deserve it, He still surprises us with more love and blessings. It can be very overwhelming. (Yes, there will be tears…)

Romans 8:28
We know that all things work together for good for those who love God, who are called according to his purpose.

So my tip for all the soon-to-be wed couples out there, the bridezillas and groomzillas *wink*. Let Go and Let God!

God is smiling upon You! He wants you to be happy!

To our dear families, friends, ninongs and ninangs and co-suppliers, THANK YOU!

I’ve wanted to post these few sets and share to you my experience in attending this most sought wedding photography workshop. Annually, Nelwin Uy, conducts a workshop for those who want to learn more about shooting weddings, the workflow,  posing, lighting, marketing and of course, the business of weddings. Even though I started shooting weddings since 2007, I know I can still learn a lot from the experiences of more veteran photographers such as Nelwin. He was more than generous to share his style of shooting and how he deals with his clients. (It’s all about light and finesse)

I’d say this is one of the best investments I’ve made for myself last year. That’s why since then, I’ve been very excited to apply all the things I’ve learned from the workshop ,  make new changes in my workflow and of course, share it to my team . I’m sure lots of my couples are excited and looking forward to their wedding day. Are you one of them?
