Jayjay Lucas & Feliz Diestro’s Wedding | Manila Polo Club

Venue: Manila Polo Club

HMUA: Aaron Lejarde and Randy Sta. Ana of The Make Up Studio

Groom’s Suit and Bride’s Ceremony Gown: Cecilio Abad

Reception Gown: Joel Escober

Flower and Stylist: Teddy Manuel

Coordination by: Christine Ong-Te Events

Here and yet again, someone gets hitched from the family. This time, its the spunky photographer Jayjay Lucas and the fashionable stylist Feliz Diestro. Who wouldn’t be happy for these two especially if you’ve witnessed how their relationship “rose up” since Clark Pampanga’s  Hot Air Balloon 2008.

It has been proven! I can’t – NOT SHOOT – during a friend’s wedding.

Knowing Jayjay and Feliz, I was pretty sure this will be one heck of a roller coaster of emotions. And I was right.

As you browse through the pictures, may you be blessed by the love, Jay and Tine emanate.

Mark 10:9  ”What therefore God has joined together, let no man separate.”

Here are some stuffs Jay and Tine prepared for the guests to protect them from the heat of the sun. Cool eh!

Picture with the Boys of Imagine Nation…

The groom walks down the aisle with his parents…

and couldn’t contain it…

as he watched his loved ones and other special people grace their wedding by their love and support.

Tine, finally arrives at the ceremony area and guests take a peek…

C’mon Jay…! Hold it up!  …. the flower girl smiles by Jay’s reaction as he waits for his bride.

The flock of birds got my attention as we were waiting for Tine walk down the aisle.

Tine gets ready to meet the man of her dreams…

” This is it! “

The hand-over..

The groom and bride honors their parents…

The vows…

Day 1, Coffee and Friends…

Classic Jay and Tine!

More pictures of Jay and Tine…

First dances are one of my favorite parts but this dance tops all I’ve covered so far…

Jay and Tine, I love you guys…. Congratulations and I’m really happy for you!

God Bless you always!

Singles For Christ – “I Stand” Conference

Venue: CWC Sports Complex, CamSur

Singles For Christ International Conference (ICON) 2011 at CWC Camsur

Over 6000 Singles For Christ from all over the world gathered in Camsur to attend the annual conference. Our theme for this year is “I STAND” taken from St. Paul’s exhortation in Ephesians 6:10-18. Putting on the Armor of God.

This conference was extra special for me because we were able to invite more members to attend than the previous ones… I know and I feel that God can only do such things and Im very happy that He made all this possible and that we all left Camsur spiritually-filled.

Another reason why I loved this year’s conference: Being able to serve God and my community with all I’ve got and doing what I love.

As part of the SFC ICON docu team, I was able to witness how God moved the whole SFC community to laughter and tears, sorrow, joy and bringing back the hope, during the talks and the praise fest. I’m also fortunate enough to interview people who are serving as Full Time Workers. I tried to learn more about their backgrounds and life stories. Special mention to Sister Cecilia Joe who have such a very inspiring service in her SFC community in Papua New Guinea.

The only downside being part of the docu team was missing out the joy of “singing loudly and wholeheartedly” during Praise Fest. But as I reflected during one of my readings from

Luke 9:23 “If any man would come after me, let him deny himself and take up his cross daily and follow me…”

I remembered that “this is not about me” or “what I want to feel” to say that I got what I came for in ICON. The ecstasy of singing praises to God with your fellow brothers and sisters in Christ. There was a battle going on in my mind: To shoot or to sing. In this case, there are two good things that I can do for Him.

I thought and reflected about it and suddenly I asked myself, “God must surely understand what I am doing and why I can’t sing my lungs out during this occasions, right?”

then I was reminded about this verse I read before in the bible:

Hebrews 11:6 “And without faith it is impossible to please him, for whoever would draw near to God must believe that he exists and that he rewards those who seek him.”

There! God did give me an answer and God does understand! As long as I know why I’m doing this, and I’ve done it with Faith, He will be pleased in what I do.

So as the crowd was singing wildly and passionately, I was shooting wildly and passionately for Christ as well. To tell the people (both SFC and Non-SFC), that God is present here with us. He was blessing everyone in the ICON. and He will bless the people who sees all the things that happened through these pictures.

“Preach the Gospel at all time and when necessary, Use Words”

Praise, Honor and Glory to God…

Here’s a top shot of the conference venue…

SFC brothers and sisters doing the chant…

Starting the second talk with another heartfelt worship to God…

Fr. Joel Jason giving a talk on how the enemy works and how to win against it…

Last day of the conference, a mass was held and we prayed over the new SFC International Council…

And this is me… together with Pat Ferranco, a brother from SFC…

Now that’s how I saw God work during the SFC conference… How about you? Do you have a story to share?
