Check out some of the non-sense awards I received last December 17 during our Imagine Nation Christmas Party… Blogger of the Year and Loading for the Year 2008…. Hmm for my thank you speech, I thank God for all the awards I received that night. I’m shocked and surprised. There were more people deserving of these awards, especially the “Loading” part. hehehe. I wanna thank the people who supported me, (especially the assists who held my flash during shoots). My co-photographers who voted.. and the hosts who invented the awards and decided the outcome. This wouldn’t be possible without you guys. hehehe… You know who you are…. But anyway, just for the sake of sportsmanship… Thanks Guys! Babawi ako next year hahaha…
Oh pahabol, I wanna thank Steve Pagsanjan for the haircut on my picture hahaha… Ayus! You da Man!

This is it! The day we fly to Boracay Islands. I’ve been looking forward to this shoot since October last year. And God put me to a lot of tests to prepare me for this day. And Oh its so sweet. I have a lots of stories to tell so I prepared some pictures as a guide to my storyline. =)
First off, we finally got our tickets…Woohoo! Notice the name under it?…

Tada! Meet Tiqui Del Rosario… hehe…

I’ll be shooting with.. ahh..uhhm.. Ms. Tiqui Del Rosario for a wedding. Nah… This is Toto Villaruel aka Tiqui sa gabi.

Teka, you don’t look like a “Tiqui”?!… Be more feminine, more lady-like, uhmm more sarcastic na rin hehe.. That’s Toto in his Tiqui smile.

We’re now at NAIA 3 waiting for our flight and since we’ve got nothing (good) to do. We decided to shoot around the scenes inside the airport.

Check out who we saw at the airport… it’s Tomas.. uhmm look-alike lang pala hehe…

When we finally landed to Boracay, I just loved the skies, the water and the sand.

We stayed at the White House Resort. Amanda’s got really great rooms and service.

During the flight, I felt like I was a kid again because I saw how fluffy the clouds were and tried to look for beings walking on the clouds. Oh well, it was really a great experience and opportunity to be on this island. Thank You Lord.

Venue: Plaza Dilao Paco Manila
Shot with Gracielle Hernandez for Imagine Nation Photography
The moment we entered the venue for Joaquin’s birthday, I knew it was going to be big.

Check out Joaquin’s cake…Yummy!

The party had cool and funny ventriloquists.

Some amazing and funny acrobats.

and Joaquin’s friends just couldn’t keep their eyes off of the performers.

Joaquin also gave us a surprise dance number. He really danced well, he even had backup dancers. Learned some steps from this little guy. “Apple bottom jeans, boots with a fur..” “Low, Low, Low…”

Guess who’s the father of Joaquin?… No other than Isko Moreno. Yule Servo was there also… Cool!

And here’s our handsome birthday boy… Joaquin! Smile!

It was a great and fun-filled birthday celebration. Can’t believe parents would spend for their kid’s 7th birthday party. Joaquin was very lucky to have his wonderful and loving parents. Glad I was able to enjoy shoot his party and witness all the fun.
Joaquin, Happy Birthday! I’m betting I’ll be seeing you on TV someday. You rock!
