This was one of those days that really looked surreal because two weeks before this wedding shoot, I just came from Kota Kinabalu and now Im shooting at Boracay. What a year starter. To top it off, we’re shooting with the Mayad guys Fiel, Alvin, Sheena, Cecil and Jose. Hmmm, maybe because im with Erron…Surreal yet so real. =P
It was just one fun wedding but before the big date, we spent the night waiting for electricity in our hotel lobby while chatting, eating and watching movies (fast track style…). Finally, around 1 or 2am, we were able to sleep already as the lights came back already.
The next day, we saw how great the venue was and I was just ecstatic at how everything was perfect including the weather.
Love this sunlight here so highlight Bel’s bouquet…
Gervin with his gorgeous sisters…
and this is Gervin and Bel’s little angel…the crowd was cheering on him..
I really love Fire Dance..
Before the reception program ended, fireworks were lit up at the shores…
Overall, this was just a perfect work/vacation experience. I enjoyed a lot and the party of Gervin and Bel just rocked. Gervin and Bel, congratulations once again. Thanks for letting us be part of your wedding. God Bless!
PS. I miss Jonah’s shake already… =P Thank You God for the great year starter…
I met Paul and Myra first last year at our studio when they were looking for a photographer who will shoot them. Initially, their plan was to be wed during holy week of 2009. That’s this week. When I heard about that, I immediately asked them, “nagluluksa na ba kayo?”… we all just laughed it off…The officiating priest had something to say about that too and in the end they decided to move their wedding to April 1. Guess what? It’s April Fools. Who would’ve thought, right?
When I got the chance to interview them about how these two met? It was really sweet. They were college friends and both felt something for each other but destiny just didn’t let them be together yet. Years later, God made a way for them to bring back their connection. And the two just hit it off. What I was really amazed about these two was how they thoroughly planned for their wedding. Every account was being counted and they did it for 1 or 2 years.. They were even able to buy a place with that amount of time. How great was that?
Here’s some of the pics that happened that day…
Did I mention that Myra was just hilarious? and so was her dad…WACKY!
This is Paul and his best man…
These two just click together…
Paul and Myra, have fun in your honeymoon… You guys were just amazing especially during your wedding…See you soon. Congratulations and God Bless!
